Finally, Mother Nature Takes a Nap

All the way down our block, neighbors are reaching for the Ben Gay and Aleeve tonight. All this white stuff was amazingly HEAVY!!

No rest for the weary though: After completely digging out my car/sidewalk (and creating Mt. Rose), I strapped on the running shoes for a spin around the Mall. It was slow going with most of the roads still having a good foot of snow on them (DC only has about 3 plows, after all), but it was pretty fun to run down the middle of Independence Ave. and Constitution Ave. without a single car to worry about!

As fun as this whole experience has been, something tells me I won't miss the snow one bit while heading down to Florida this coming weekend!

Nice, never saw that much snow when I lived there for sure. Prediction is: mostly cloudy, high of 61 and low of 43 for Saturday :)

Can't wait...Any real estate available in the Jax area? I might not come back to DC at all!

As much as I hate shoveling snow, it does look kind of awesome!
