With the incredible distance that Dan has already traversed, it would be easy to say that there's ONLY a marathon left for him to run. But I believe that the words "only" and "marathon" should never be in the same sentence. Except the last two.
On to the pics!
Here's Danno coming into a recent support stop with some supporters by the road:
And here's the support prize he got when he arrived:
The crew is on the coast of the Cape now, with the beautiful ocean view and sand in their feet. They say Dan is like a super-focused machine right now, blazing along and not stopping to chat(well, maybe a kiss here and there). So far so good. Still plenty left to go!
To illustrate Dan's awesome pace, check this: CrewPop Steve joined up with Dan in the last section of the run. Almost instantly, Dan left him in the dust. What can I say? The man has a mission! Here's the exhausted Steve recovering from trying to keep up with Danno:
Dan's Uncle Rich just drove in from Auburn, MA (like 120 miles away!) to join in on the run. No word yet on how many yards he'll be able to run. Uncle Rich says "I've been in touch with my kids now more than I have been in a year, because they're calling me to get updates on Dan!" Here's Uncle Rich, Danno, and Steve...just came over the wires:
Keep your support strong! This will be the toughest part of RUN 192!
